Nya bron i Autio möjliggör smidigare transporter

Som en av de sista pusselbitarna av projektet Malmtransporter Kaunisvaara-Svappavaara (MaKS) pågår bygget av den nya bron över Torne älv i Autio. Den nya bron kommer att underlätta för transporterna mellan Kaunisvaara och omlastningsterminalen i Pitkäjärvi och möjliggöra för mötande trafik.

Avslutad huvudförhandling – ett steg närmare en långsiktig gruvverksamhet i Tornedalen

Veckans huvudförhandling i Mark- och miljööverdomstolen i Kaunis Irons mål om fortsatt och utökad gruvverksamhet är avslutad och dom väntas 2025. – Jag hoppas att vi nu kommer i mål med ett definitivt besked för att kunna ta viktiga steg mot en långsiktig verksamhet i Tornedalen, säger Åsa Allan, vice VD Kaunis Iron.
