What is the minimum amount I can invest through Accumeo?

The minimum investment amount is usually SEK 100 000, but it may vary depending on the specific deal and company requirements. Some investments may have higher or lower minimum amounts, depending on shareholder agreements and transaction terms.

Can I invest through a company?

Yes, you can invest in Pre-IPO shares through a company. Accumeo allows both individuals and companies to buy and sell Pre-IPO shares.

How do I register on Accumeo?

3. Buy and sell private company shares

Are the shares owned directly by me or through an SPV?

When you purchase shares through Accumeo, you always become a direct shareholder, unless the company in question only permits ownership through an SPV (special purpose vehicle/holding company). In such cases, it will be clearly stated that the investment is made via an SPV.

If you, as a seller, wish to sell shares held in an SPV, this is only permitted if the company exclusively allows ownership through an SPV.

Where can I find my shares?

If you own shares directly, they are registered in the company’s shareholder register, which is typically managed by the company itself or an external registry service. The company may use a digital shareholder register, such as Euroclear Sweden, Computershare, or another provider.

You can request confirmation from the company or its registrar to verify your shareholder status.

Can I sell my shares?

If you want to sell your private shares, you can place a sell order through Accumeo. Our brokers will assist in finding a buyer, but since private company shares have lower liquidity than publicly traded stocks, the sale may take longer, and a buyer is not guaranteed to be found.

Is it possible to delete my account?

We’re sorry to see you go, but deleting your Accumeo account is simple.

To delete your account, go to 'Account Settings', select 'Delete Account', and confirm by clicking 'Confirm'. This will permanently remove both your account and your personal data.

Is it possible to get a copy of my data?

Under current GDPR laws, you have the right to request a copy of the data that you have provided to Accumeo.
